DNI FOUNDATION’S PAD4LWD INITIATIVE PHASE 3 SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of Phase 3 of our PAD4LWD Initiative, marking yet another significant stride towards our mission of empowerment and inclusivity. On the 10th of June 2024, our dedicated team orchestrated a meaningful donation drive at Good Samaritan Home for the Intellectually Challenged located at Adidome.

Led by our dedicated Volta Regional Representative, Mr. Bright Atsu Amemate, along with the unwavering support of his friends, this initiative exemplifies the power of collective action and consideration. Together, they epitomize the spirit of community engagement and service, embodying our core values of empathy, dignity, and empowerment.

The donation drive at Good Samaritan Home highlights our commitment to extending support and care to individuals with intellectual challenges. Through the provision of essential hygiene products, we aim to not only meet a fundamental need but also foster a culture of positivity, dignity, and inclusion within the community.

At the heart of our PAD4LWD Initiative lies a profound belief that every individual, regardless of ability, deserves access to the resources and support necessary to live a life of dignity and fulfillment. By championing this cause, we challenge stereotypes and stigmatization, paving the way for a more inclusive and equitable society.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Bright Atsu Amemate and his dedicated team of volunteers for their tireless efforts in organizing and executing this impactful initiative. Their commitment to serving others serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration, igniting positive change and transformation within our communities.

As we celebrate the successful completion of Phase 3, we reaffirm our pledge to continue advocating for the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities. Together, let us embrace the ethos of #beperiodpositive, recognizing that disability is not a limitation but an opportunity for greater understanding, compassion, and solidarity.

Join us in spreading the message of disability not inability and disability awareness as we strive to create a world where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to thrive.
